Dayton Canyon vernal pool
The Headwaters to Groundwater Project covered a 32,000 acre area along the western end of the Upper Los Angeles River Area (ULARA), undeveloped sections of the Santa Susana Mountains, Simi Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains. This area is referred to as the focus area.
