Stakeholders

There are many programs and agencies operated at the federal, state and local levels with interest in water. However, the most important stakeholders are the people who live and rely on water in the San Fernando Valley. With safe water supplies dwindling, the outcome of this project will become a critical component of the area's future.

Some of the key stakeholders are:

  • ULARA Watermaster, Mel Blevins
  • Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy
  • Heal the Bay
  • Wetlands Recovery Project Los Angeles County
  • Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board
  • California State University at Northridge - biology
  • Los Angeles County Watershed Division
  • University Southern California
  • Los Angeles Department of Water and Power
  • Clean Water Team, State Water Resources Control Board
